BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Another potato will be dropping on New Year's Eve.
But don't plan on heading to downtown Boise to watch the spud fall.
Organizers told CBS2 on Tuesday that this year's event will not be open to the public and will be held at an undisclosed location and made for TV.
The event has attracted thousands of residents to the downtown area every New Year's Eve since 2013. (And, not surprisingly, it's made for some national headlines).
