BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A Boise man faces several charges after a shooting at an apartment early Monday morning.

Officers received a report of shots fired at the apartment on the 5800 block of N. File Mile road. Police arrived and secured the scene.

According to police, 21-year-old Isaiah Maestas used a firearm to threaten two female victims after a verbal domestic dispute with one of them. Police said evidence suggests Maestas discharged the firearm into the ceiling. Officers also found Maestas to be in possession of numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, a digital scale and a large amount of cash.

Maestas was taken to the Ada County Jail. He faces the following charges:

Aggravated Assault (F) – 2 counts, Enhancement for use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony (F), Unlawful discharge of a firearm (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (F)

“The Boise Police Department takes all acts of domestic violence seriously.
